Diminutives everywhere

Every time I start off with the same old topic of defining a language, about what a language is and how it evolved and where it is most applied.  But today, let’s start off with something different. Not bizarre, will I say, but not like daily pancake too. What is it then?

Have you heard of the word Diminutive? No? Well, it is not a very superior word, although it has a very advanced application. It is tool of Grammar that abridges or shortens a word or shrinks the full length of the word. For example, we all have heard the word Triplet. That word is a direct result and evaluative form of triple, but told in a queer and fashionable way. Diminutives are very easy to apply, you can also do that. For example, attaching the suffix lie to any word can turn it into a proper example of diminutive. Like dog turns into doggie/doggy. Those who stuff themselves with too much food are called foodie. Hence, you can see almost everywhere diminutives are being applied.

Unique and Impactful

And why are we talking about Diminutives suddenly? Because that tool in Russian language has great use. If there is a word such as sofa, it turns to be sofia, and so on. It is of so strange that the words in Russian are mostly concrete examples of diminutives, and that the words look more complex than they actually are.

But there is some sidekick. And that is, most of the names in Russian language, whether diminutive is applied or not, is similar! The name dog is translated to sobaka, sobacha, sobachka, sobakch, and literally many others. For example, the word Father or Papa becomes papasha, papochka, papka, papaik, papik, papuik all carrying the same meaning of the word Papa.

The word language becomes язык, the word house is spelled as Dohm, Dahum, Douhm and so many others. Russian is only the language that has several expressions for a single word. Now each word on itself expresses a certain or particular emotion, such as light has several word for its own, not only the single translation as свет.

Words in Russian language singularly expresses different ironical or any subjective form of verb.  So, there is lot of choice available for the speaker to choose and apply. There is no such strict grammatical rule which can get you the right choice of word, it entirely is upon you which word you feel expresses the correct form of emotion.

To spell Russian words correctly, one has to master the art of speaking the language in a special vocal manner. Some words are used with specific reference to the object of expressing a thought, or identifying an object. Such as, dark. This word can be used to explain a dark sky, or chocolate, or the side of human nature. A Russian Language Course in Kolkata can give you deep insights about the understanding and applying Russian in different sectors.

 Language of diversification

What you think after all, the native language of more than 25 billion speakers over various countries should not have a diversity and variation in itself? It is eminent, that the cultural impression of various regions and the dialectical vitiation is prominent in Russian words.

I know what you are thinking of. Why is Russian language so much complex that it has reserve for different emotions or motives for different words? No, Russian language instead gives you the scope of choosing almost the best suitable word among so many different words that relates to a specific word. Tell me which other language does gives you this
opportunity of replacing or taking one good word for granted? None.

Learning this language is not only beneficial for you as you will get best job-offers across different nations, but also that the language is simply fascinating. You can learn Russian by enrolling in a Russian Language Course in Kolkata.
