What is the SAT® Test?

SAT or Scholastic Assessment Test, which was formerly known as Scholastic Aptitude Test is a standardized test administered by the College Board, which is a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States. It is conducted for those students who want to take admission in the US. SAT exam has been developed and designed to evaluate the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates. Applicants who aspire to pursue undergraduate courses, particularly in the US and Canada, are required to take the SAT exam.
