What is the TOEFL® Test?

Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is a standardized, graded test to evaluate the English Language ability of non-native speakers who are planning to enroll themselves in English speaking universities. TOEFL Exam is designed and administered by Educational Testing Service, a private non-profit organization. It mainly focusses on Reading, Listening, Speaking, and writing of the English language. The duration of the Internet-based test (iBT): 2 hours 47 minutes to 3 hours 23 minutes (excluding 10-minute break in-between) and Paper-delivered test: 2 hours 25 minutes.
